Close construction sites during the COVID19 lockdown with immediate effect.
The government must close down all non-essential construction sites to reduce the spread of Covid19. Other than building hospitals, emergency repair work etc, construction is NOT essential.
* Uncessary workers using travel links, put key workers at more risk.
* Site welfare facilities are often poorly kept with no hand sanitizer.
* Areas on site, i.e canteens do not allow 2 metres to be kept between workers.
* The access and egress from site is often through a turn style with a biometric fingerprint scanner, again with no hand sanitizer.
* Potentially 1000's of workers use lifts in close proximity to move around.
Please #shutthesites to keep our families and keyworkers safe.
