Ensure appropriate PPE for nurses and doctors in critical care departments
During this COVID19 emergency, wearing face masks is still not compulsory for medical staff working in the critical care departments around the UK. This is unacceptable: in this situation, nurses and doctors must wear appropriate PPE for them to be safe and ensure appropriate service.
If doctors and nurses are not protected now and get infected with COVID19, not only will they risk their lives, but this will inevitably affect the level of care patients will have. We cannot allow this while we are tackling in a pandemic. Ensuring our medical staff safety should be a priority!
