Stop construction sites operating during Covid 19 lockdowns
During lockdowns to prevent spread of coronavirus, only essential work should be ongoing, unless the construction is related to health or emergency services it cannot be deemed essential
This action is putting many people at risk, I have site experience and can vouch that it would be impossible to meet social isolation guidelines on site, many people eating near each other and using same, often poor hygiene facilities will continue to spread coronavirus. The vast majority of sites cannot be considered essential work so should close to protect workers and public, exceptions should be granted for works related to vital services but only when this will hamper containment efforts
