Give all key workers a tax free period during this time of crisis.
Abolish income tax for a temporary period to people working in vital services keeping the country running and the people alive in this time of crisis. Many of these key workers have already been feeling the effects of austerity for a decade.
There are billions on the table to save industries from collapse, there are payouts for those in certain sectors to cover 80% of their income losses, essentially being paid to stay at home.
There are measures being introduced to protect the incomes of retired key workers being asked to rejoin the workforce because of their unique knowledge, skills and experience to help the country in a time of need.
Unprecedented circumstances call for unprecedented measures!
