Broadcast "Stay in to save lives" public service ads on prime time tv
The Government should do hard hitting "Stay in to save lives" public service ads (like anti drink driving ones) between popular prime time TV programmes, to reach those who may not watch the News, and to better inform those who are not taking the COVOID 19 situation as seriously as they should
Firstly, a large % of the younger generation are possibly not tuning into the news. Other people may even be avoiding the news bulletins altogether.
This way, more people would see the info and warnings and it could help them to understand the severity of the situation, and the importance of adhering to the restrictions.
Maybe these types of "adverts" (broadcasts) would get the point across better to those who are trying to find loopholes in the new measures, or ignoring them altogether.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Since you started your petition the Government has arranged the broadcast of adverts along the lines requested by your petition.
