Remove final payment for university accommodation
Final/third instalments for university accommodation should be cancelled for all students.
Due to Covid-19 the majority of students have had to move out of their university accommodation but will still have to pay around £2000 for accommodation that we won’t be staying in. During a time where many people are unable to work, more money shouldn’t be taken as most people have had to move out. Furthermore many people could use this money to help theirs and their family’s financial situation during this time of uncertainty.

Suspending payments or providing refunds for tuition fees and rent are a matter for individual universities and landlords, and not the UK Government or Parliament.
