Termination of student accommodation contracts due to Covid-19.
All students should be allowed to terminate their student accommodations contracts before the end of this academic year due to coronavirus breakdown.
Current situation have significantly affected students’ incomes as the majority of them have already lost their part-time jobs. Moreover, many of them have left their properties and came back to their hometowns, not necessarily situated in United Kingdom. In terms of this, all students should be able to cancel their contracts without any penalty.

Suspending payments or providing refunds for tuition fees and rent are a matter for individual universities and landlords, and not the UK Government or Parliament.
