Suspend non-essential postal deliveries
We posties at Royal Mail deliver to 29 million addresses, 6 days a week.
During the Covid-19 pandemic we have been given zero H&S assistance to stop the spread.
This morning I woke up, washed my hands, sanitized my phone, keys, wallet and car. When I got to work I washed my hands again.
I then have to sort 3000+ items of mail any of which could be carrying the virus. I load into a van which has been "cleaned", wash my hands one more time & go to my walk.
Now, Suppose the 1st letterbox I touch has the virus? I've nowhere to wash my hands for 4 hrs & have been given no hand sanitizer/gloves/mask. I'm free to spread it to all 700+ houses I go to.
There's around 100,000 of us going out everyday doing this.
It's impossible, stupid & negligent to think we won't be spreading it.
