Grade end of year degrees for university students on their previous assessments.
Award last year of degree based on previous assessments. During the current crisis of COVID-19, Students have little or no support, limited access to resources and technical help whilst also trying to juggle childcare, keywork, assessments and the dissertation.
I want Govenment to award the degree to the students based on previous assessment scores. In this current climate of COVID-19, students have NO access to resources and technical support, and many cannot carry out their dissertations due to many schools and workplaces closing down. All classes have stopped and only PowerPoint presentations supplied for information on assessments and dissertations. It is not fair that we are expected to carry on as if we were still attending the university.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about university teaching, assessments and exams are a matter for individual universities, and decisions about university admissions are a matter for individual universities and UCAS, not the UK Government or Parliament.
If you have concerns about admissions you should raise these with UCAS, and if you have concerns about your university's arrangements for teaching and assessment you should raise these with your university or the Office for Students, which regulates the higher education sector.
We understand that the current situation is stressful for many people, including students. Student Minds, a mental health charity for students, is collating guidance and developing resources to support students experiencing stress as a result of the current situation, which you may find useful: www.studentminds.org.uk/coronavirus.html
