Treat everyone equally in these difficult times.
I would like government to treat everyone equally in these difficult times.
Govt is paying 80% to the employed people and not doing much for self employed. It doesn't make sense as it is not the employers paying 80% but the government it self is paying so they should treat everyone equally as it is not anyone's fault. Government is endorsing the lockdown and they should make sure everyone is treated fairly in these difficult times.

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
