Reverse government decision not to join EU procurement scheme for COVID-19
Lift your decision not to join the EU procurement scheme for the purchase of COVID-19 medical equipment, including personal protective equipment and ventilators.
COVID-19 knows no boundaries. In this time of global pandemic we should be working in solidarity with our nearest neighbours as well as internationally to stop the spread of this virus. Access to to the right amount of personal protective equipment for NHS staff and ventilators will save lives. It is not acceptable for the UK government to inhibit the means of securing equipment just because of irrelevant political ideologies in this time of national crisis. From a concerned NHS Nurse.
