Petition Action

To provide proper protective equipment to all NHS staff at all times

Petition Details

During this state of emergency it has been widely reported that NHS staff have not been provided with the protective clothing because of lack of funding. The staff are not only putting their own lives at risk but also the lives of others who they may come into contact on a daily basis

Additional Information

We believe that the Government have a statutory duty to ensure that all front line staff work in a safe environment at all times. In order to do this they need to fund appropriate equipment for them.

It has been widely reported that NHS staff risk infection because of inadequate equipment. This not only has consequences for the staff involved but also for many others who they may come into contact with.
