Loosen firearm ownership and purchase laws
The firearms laws in this country are too strict, there is no research that suggests that sporting firearms are used in criminal activity. We don't want to abolish firearms licensing but there are not a lot of firearms for us to use for the legitimate purpose of sporting or hunting.
