Postpone the Easter bank holidays, hold later as NHS/ keyworker appreciation day
Postpone the two bank holidays for Easter 2020 until a time when they can be celebrated and appreciated. They, or at least one of them should be appreciation days for the NHS/other keyworkers.
There is no point having bank holidays at Easter 2020. People will either be at work because they’re keyworkers or at home without friends and in many cases without family.
Holding them later in the year would allow people a way to show our appreciation of the NHS and other keyworkers.
