Require businesses to turn off lighting in empty offices during Covid-19
During a run I noticed that a significant number of lights had been left on in the offices in Canary Wharf. During the Covid-19 epidemic there is no reason for these lights to be kept on unnecessarily in empty offices.
This petition suggests the government mandates through law or another enforceable mechanism that businesses do not leave unnecessary electrical equipment switched on during the Covid-19 epidemic whilst their offices are unoccupied to assist with reducing the United Kingdom's contributions to the ongoing climate crisis and to help companies make economic savings to ensure they can pay their employees salaries with as little government intervention as possible.
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
