Every year on the 26th March at 8PM we should all clap for the NHS/healthcare.
Just like we do for the minutes silence we should do this. To mark the work not just done throughout the years but through this challenging time through the covid-19 we should as a country clap for one minute on the 26th March at 8pm.
We take the nhs for-granted, along with it’s staff at the blood sweat and tears that go into it. Doing something like this every year will help people remember what we have.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you want the Government to acknowledge the role of the NHS, but it's not clear exactly what you want the Government to do. The Government is not responsible for leading public demonstrations of appreciation.
We have started a petition calling on the Government to create a new Bank Holiday in recognition of the NHS and all its amazing workers, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/303882
We have also started a petition calling on the Government to award Covid-19 medals to all emergency services and involved armed forces, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/302613
