Increase Maintenance Loan amounts during the Coronavirus outbreak
Moderately increase Term 3 loan amounts to cover additional expenses incurred due to COVID-19
During this crisis, there are many students who do not have the ability to leave university for reasons such as being estranged from their family or living with a person that is at-risk - some universities recognised this by allowing UK students to stay. They are also incurring additional costs that they and their families are no longer able to cover by working. If the Government is willing to supplement wages of people who earn £37.5k, they should also support students who get less than £10k.
