Make March 26th NHS day.
Officially mark this day as NHS day in appreciation to all NHS staff.
A national day of respect to NHS staff who through their courage and determination battled a virus that entered our shores. We as a nation need this day to remember the resilience that they put up in helping the sick, working long gruelling hours, having to themselves face an unseen enemy that could of and maybe infected them. A selfless team that deserves this day.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
We understand that you want the Government to acknowledge the role of the NHS, but it's not clear exactly what you want the Government to do. The Government is not responsible for designating national days of appreciation.
We have started a petition calling on the Government to create a new Bank Holiday in recognition of the NHS and all its amazing workers, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/303882
We have also started a petition calling on the Government to award Covid-19 medals to all emergency services and involved armed forces, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/302613
