Put politics aside and agree a fair and permanent funding formula for our NHS.
I want our political parties to come together and agree a fair and permanent funding formula for our NHS.
Once agreed, I would like politicians to take a back seat and allow health professionals to run and manage the NHS.
The constant bickering around the NHS in politics is tiring. All major parties say they are committed to the NHS, so let’s agree a fair funding formula giving a permanent, predictable funding for the NHS..
I call on the government to then take politics out of the service, not allow it to be used as a political football and hand it over to managers and health professionals to run our National Health Service for the benefit of the people.
