To make the 26th of march the day of the NHS every year.
I want the 26th of march to be recognised as the day we celebrate the NHS. At 8PM if people choose to do so they stand and clap for all out NHS staff.
To celebrate our wonderful staff of the NHS and to celebrate all their hard work they do year in and year out. They are the real back bone of the UK.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you want the Government to acknowledge the role of the NHS, but it's not clear exactly what you want the Government to do. The Government is not responsible for designating national days.
We have started a petition calling on the Government to create a new Bank Holiday in recognition of the NHS and all its amazing workers, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/303882
We have also started a petition calling on the Government to award Covid-19 medals to all emergency services and involved armed forces, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/302613
