Make 26th March NHS day to recognise and appreciate our everyday heroes ❤️
Make NHS day the 26th March every year as a special recognition for the wonderful staff - doctors, nurses, midwives, paramedics and all other carers and support staff. A bonus could be provided to them, whether it’s financial or some kind of award.
They are everyday heroes and do not get enough credit for the work they do for this country! This should be a national effort as we all need to thank these wonderful people. They are there for us day and night, and nothing is too much trouble.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you want the Government to do something to acknowledge the role of the NHS, but it's not clear exactly what you want the Government to do. The Government is not responsible for designating "national days".
We have started a petition calling on the Government to create a new Bank Holiday in recognition of the NHS and all its amazing workers, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/303882
We have also started a petition calling on the Government to award Covid-19 medals to all emergency services and involved armed forces, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/302613
