Declare 26th March National NHS Day for all care workers during COVID19 crisis
Recognise today, the 26th March as National NHS Day every year as a thank you to everyone who selflessly goes to work in care to help others during this Coronavirus crisis
Declare 26th March National NHS Day in remembrance for all these amazing, selfless people who are working in care to help everyone during this COVID19 crisis. This will obviously never be forgotten, but never in modern history has anything like this happened and there's thousands of amazing humans that are going to work in the care industry that are putting their lives and their loved ones on the line to help others. They all deserve recognition!

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you want the Government to acknowledge the role of the NHS, but it's not clear exactly what you want the Government to do. The Government is not responsible for designating national days of appreciation.
We have started a petition calling on the Government to create a new Bank Holiday in recognition of the NHS and all its amazing workers, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/303882
We have also started a petition calling on the Government to award Covid-19 medals to all emergency services and involved armed forces, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/302613
