I want the government to Mark the 26th of March as National NHS day.
I want the government to mark the 26th of March as National NHS day to show gratitude to all current and past NHS staff that are there day in and day out looking after our country’s population.
We have National days for just about everything but not for something that is in our life’s constantly. They are there night and day to help every single person no matter who they are and they deserve so much more then what we are already giving. So as a little gesture I want to mark a day for all the staff of the nhs who work so hard to kee is healthy.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you want the Government to do something to acknowledge the role of the NHS, but it's not clear exactly what you want the Government to do. The Government is not responsible for designating "national days".
We have started a petition calling on the Government to create a new Bank Holiday in recognition of the NHS and all its amazing workers, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/303882
We have also started a petition calling on the Government to award Covid-19 medals to all emergency services and involved armed forces, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/302613
