Acknowledge Probation Officers, Police Officers, Prison Staff and Keyworkers.
I have been in the Probation service for 2 and half years and I have noticed that Probation Officers, Police Officers, Prison Staff and Keyworkers should have the opportunity to be noticed and acknowledged for our hard work that we put in to the community.
I have worked in the Probation service for 2 and a half years, a new probation officer. All I see on the news is a lot of public services being praised for the jobs that they do and probation be slated. Probation officers work just as hard as all the other public services and are not recognised for the hard work that we put in to keep the world safe.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you want the Government to acknowledge Probation Officers, Police Officers, Prison Staff and other keyworkers, but it's not clear what you want the Government to do to achieve this.
You could start a new petition calling on the Government to fund increased pay, or other benefits, for these workers, if that is something you would like to see.
We have also published petitions calling on the Government to take various actions to financially reward keyworkers as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, which you might like to sign:
