Do more to help individuals who have lost their jobs as a result of Covid-19.
Helping employers keep their employees is all well and good, but what about the people who have already lost their jobs as a result of Covid-19? The government should be offering the same 80% of wages to the people who are already out of work.
Businesses are being helped, but the individuals who have already lost their jobs need to be supported too. Universal Credit is not enough for people who are used to living on a full time wage.
