Petition Action

Give frontline workers a staggered 3 month paid sabbatical after Covid-19 ends

Petition Details

Give all frontline responders to Covid-19 a 3 month paid sabbatical to rest, recover and relax once Covid-19 is over. Rolling out the 3 month sabbatical in a staggered approach so that critical services are not put under more pressure, with all staff taking sabbatical at the same time.

Additional Information

All the exhausted frontline responders to this crisis, the NHS staff, the staff in supermarkets, council refuse collectors and all those who are keeping working to save lives and keep the country going often suffering abuse (supermarket staff), putting themselves in danger (NHS workers) should be given time to rest and recover and relax following their courageous, selfless acts during this time, given the rest of the country is having, for those receiving government help, a 80% paid sabbatical.
