Self employed but do not fall into the 80% wage funding
Because i have only been self employed for the tax years 2019/2020 I am exempt to the 80% wage funding even tho I have paid my taxes for over 10 years wether that’s employed or self employed. I am forced to self isolate as my partner is heavily pregnant and universal credit isn’t enough.
I think it is unfair for people who are forced to self isolate for whatever reason but only be given universal credit which is not enough and have lawfully paid taxes for a very long time. Whilst others get way more financial help.
Why can you not just look at the last 3 years of income regardless of self employment or not and give 80% of that so no one will full through the net.
