Stop the BBC taking away our miles - the last vestage of British measures
The BBC insists on describing distance in Metres and Kilometres, but we do not use these in this country. The UK uses Miles and Yards, whether the europhiles like it or not. If we are paying for the BBC, they should stop using alien measurements in their programmes. We have had every other measure taken off us without our consent. This abuse of our ancient measures of distance has to stop.
