Petition Action

I would like the Army to get on the streets as the youth are acting ridiculously

Petition Details

I want the British Army to get on the streets because everything is getting out of control. The youth seem to be acting really bad thinking it’s a holiday. I strongly believe everyone needs to come together and sign this petition so coronavirus goes away ASAP.

Additional Information

I want the government to do it so that this deadly coronavirus disease known as covid-19 disappears. This is because everyone is taking this as a holiday. The British army needs to come together and control this. The UK death toll is getting higher everyday and it’s getting out of control. Parliament need to come together and make this happen.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Maintaining public order is the responsibility of the police, not the military. The Government has said that the Ministry of Defence is working with a range of partners across Government, including the National Police Chiefs Council and the Home Office, to understand how it can best support the Government’s response to the outbreak. It would be an operational decision for the police whether to request assistance.
