NHS healthcare staff pay rise

Petition Details

I'd like the government to give NHS healthcare staff the much needed pay rise they truly deserve.

Additional Information

In this current crisis, it is NHS staff that are putting their health and lives at risk more than most other sectors, and it is now that their alturism and sacrifice should be properly recognised by providing them a proper and decent wage at last.
Their salaries have been barely increasing, never covering the rate of inflation at all, yet they are expected day after day to provide the best quality of care for others, while continually worrying about their own finances.
With the outbreak of COVID-19, it is clearly evident of how much we need these fantastic, caring people.
