Protect retail staff and customers from covid19
Make it mandatory for retailers to protect their staff and customers from spreading covid 19 by installing protective screens between customer and staff. Staff on floor and tills to be given protection with social distancing always in place.
Shops to close unless protection is put in place. Customers and staff that do not practice social distancing to receive fines or refused entry to shop. Visual and audio reminders to be in place.

The Government has published guidance on social distancing in the workplace during coronavirus, includign specific guidance for the retail sector: www.gov.uk/guidance/social-distancing-in-the-workplace-during-coronavirus-covid-19-sector-guidance#retail
Implementing this guidance is a matter for individual retailers, and not the Government or Parliament.
