Give directors of small limited companies same COVID financial support as others
Directors of very small limited companies, who are not classed as self-employed or employed, will not receive any compensation as a result of losing business due to the coronavirus.
The Government should consider compensation along the lines of that offered to to the self-employed and employed.
Small businesses employ more people in total than large corporations, so it is vital that these are protected in order that the country can move forward after the coronavirus crisis has passed.
They should be treated in a similar way to the self-employed, and compensated for 80% of their filed average earnings, including dividends, up to £,2500 per month.
Failure to do this will mean many such businesses will close for good, and the Government will lose tax revenue and incur benefit costs.
