Petition Action

Extend the coronavirus job retention scheme beyond 28th Feb cutoff

Petition Details

Extend the coronavirus job retention scheme to employees who started work after Feb 28th

Additional Information

I recently left a job (where I would have been eligible for the scheme and it has come in to force) and started a new one on 9th March as such I have been offered 2 options. Indefinite unpaid leave or 1 weeks pay redundancy. I'm sure I'm not the only person affected by the 28th Feb cutoff point. Now I have no income to support my family
