Provide Health care workers with WHO compliant PPE for all/suspected cvid19 case
Ensure a supply of WHO compliant Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to all health care workers (HCW) to protect them from the risks of covid19 to include suspected cases of covid19. All HCW must be able to carry on their duties without fear for their own safety/families & infecting other patients.
Italy is about 4 weeks ahead of us with Covid19. To date 51 doctors have died & 6414 health workers have tested positive for Covid19.
From a GP in Italy "there are not enough PPE for HCWs: some have a mask and gloves, some only have gloves" UK's HCW similarly only have a face mask, glove & apron. This is a highly infectious disease. Even Prince Charles & our PM has it. Our Health Care Workers must be protected properly to be able to protect the health of the people.
