To Avoid unfair job losses and it potentially could be too stressful for employees and or not safe to do so

Decisions about redundancies or consulting on redundancies are a matter for individual employers, and not the Government or Parliament.

We have published a petition calling on the Government to remove firms discretion and obligate firms to furlough employees where eligible, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/312611
