Keep Parliament working by using digital platforms
Can parliamentarians please seek urgently to continue meeting digitally, in APPGs, committees, and for full meetings of the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Please also seek to continue having constituency surgeries digitally.
In the current crisis it is entirely proper that Parliament doesn't meet face-to-face in one room. But it is very important that the work of Parliament, of MPs, and of the Lords, carries on as much like usual as possible: to ensure proper scrutiny of government actions; to discuss policies, and to raise issues of importance to the public in general and their constituents in particular.
