Fines for landlords charging rent, when they have applied for a mortgage break.

Petition Details

To introduce measures to prevent landlords putting their tenants into financial difficulty by still charging rent when they have applied for a mortgage break with their lenders.

Additional Information

Because it requires a greater power above to help the people of this country and to do what is morally right to assist and help the people of the United Kingdom in difficult times like this,and to prevent landlords from profiting from this situation when so many people are struggling.

Suspending payments for rent, council tax, mortgages and utilities is a matter for individual landlords, councils, mortgage providers and utility providers, and not the UK Government or Parliament.
