Public Vote on important government changes
We live in a democracy, therefore any changes that the government wish to implement that receive over 100,000 signatures on an e-petition against them, should be taken to a general public vote.
The public, not just MPs, should have the power to make decisions, in a democratic way, on issues that will affect them, e.g, the NHS bill.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
