All the immigration and asylum applicants should be granted residence in the UK.
All the immigration(e.g EEA Family members) and asylum applicants should be given some residence status in the UK,if there are no serious criminal records found.
Just like Portugal has announced to do so and called it an "act of Solidarity" in times of Global Crisis.
It is almost impossible for people to find any job in the UK,if they don't have right to work.Even if any one manages to get a job he wouldn't be paid more than £20 or so a day.How hard would it be for them to make ends meet!!
Now,think about this Corona crisis when almost everyone is out of job and spending their savings etc. Or they can benefit Govt's compensation packages Bcz they have some rights as Residents. What will be the situation of those who don't have any savings and any rights in the UK ??
So the Govt. must should think about them in time of such Crisis and show "Solidarity" to them.
