Stop the UK Prime Minister from posting 30 Million letters.
UK Prime Minister intends to write to every UK household; 30 Million letters urging people to stay at home and save the NHS. This campaign will cost the tax payers £6 Million and use approximately 100 million papers (letter and envelope), damage to environment and expose postmen to the virus.
Fighting against Coronavirus requires a coordinated approach. Instead of wasting papers, public money and exposing postal service staff to coronavirus, UK Government should use digital platforms like YouTube, Google, Facebook, WhatsApp, TV channels and other social media outlets to launch a digital campaign urging people to stay at home and save lives. A digital campaign can be used multiple times to reinforce the message.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Since you started your petition the Government has already sent a letter about coronavirus to every home. You could start a new petition calling on the Government to only communicate via electronic means during the coronavirus outbreak, because of the potential risks of letters.
