Removal of MPs whose behaviour is found to not merit the trust and responsbility required in a public servant.
Following the news that despite being found guilty for assault whilst drunk that Eric Joyce MP for Falkirk is to retain his place in the House of Commons I have created this e-Petition to ask the government to pass legislation so any members whose behaviour is found to not warrant the public's trust and respect is removed from government.
Other members of public bodies like the NHS, education and Police are subject to strict guidelines governing their behaviour whilst on and off duty. If found to have brought their profession into disrepute they would face the possibility of losing their job. Why is it one rule for public workers and another for MPs?
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
