Replace Bonfire Night with a Emergency Services/NHS night.
Instead of Bonfire Night, why don’t we have NHS/Emergency Services night? We can celebrate something better we need to replace it with a NHS/Emergency event, with candles, balloons, cheering and money raised for Emergency Services, fun activities.
Bonfire Night has been celebrated for years, as someone tried to blow up parliament, the fireworks scares dogs, give them heart-attacks makes them scared, the NHS/Emergency Services doesn’t have a event where all people gather to show there respect and raise money for them, and they deserve one for the lives they save, the hard work they do, especially Coastguards! They volunteer, they get no money for it they do it to save people’s lives, we should be thankful for them!

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government is not responsible for how people celebrate bonfire night, but we have published a petition calling on the Government to Designate a day for the recognition of our NHS and all Emergency Services, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/308614
