Establish a Royal Commission to investigate the handling of the COVID-19 crisis.
Questions like these need to be answered.
Were we right to ignore WHO advise on the basis as the government stated we have the best advise available, and are acting on the advice we are receiving?
What did we get right?
Did the actions have the desired effect? (Did Banks exploit the situation?)
We need to understand what happened and why.
At the time of starting this the Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Health Secretary Matt Hancock are self-isolating after testing positive for the virus. England's chief medical officer, Prof Chris Whitty, is also self-isolating, but has not tested positive. There seems no succession plan in place of these people not being able to function.
