The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Suspending payments for rent is a matter for individual landlords and housing associations, and not the UK Government or Parliament.

You could also start a new petition calling on the Government to reimburse key workers for housing costs during Covid-19, if that is something you would like to happen.
