Petition Action

Provide transport assistance to NHS frontline staff to get them to work safely

Petition Details

The government should help NHS staff get to work safely by arranging for bicycles to be provided to them and protective Cycling wear, or arrange with Uber or taxi providers a scheme to help NHS staff get to work for free or at a discounted rate.

Additional Information

It’s not right that after a long shift, it’s taking hours for NHS workers to get home battling through the reduced and packed public transport system. It took 3 hours for my friend to get home in London. They need to rest and they need to be kept safe. They are our frontline of defence against covid. Let’s not make their struggle at work any harder.
