Petition Details

To ensure that the entire NHS, be awarded a George Cross medal to bear witness to the astonishing bravery of young and old alike working in hospitals, in this terrible time, when lives are at risk simply for caring, as the island of Malta was in the Second World War

Additional Information

In this period when the COVID19 virus is decimating elderly populations, it is clear that the nation would like to and should recognise the bravery of the all NHS workers, from cleaners, to the doctors and consultants coming back from retirement and all nursing, medical and other staff in between.
With huge risks to all staff being the daily norm during this crisis, it is thereby incumbent on us the people of the UK,
