Force car insurance companies to pass on savings from claims that wont happen
Car insurance premiums are calculated using data from previous years to work how how much they will need to pay out and put that money aside.
With the current lockdown they are enjoying a significant reduction in claims, but pass on no savings to you, even temporarily.
Every penny counts.
This is a mandatory legal requirement for insurance, yet the insurance companies are not reducing premiums for the government enforced lockdown, which massively benefits insurer's by charging the same premiums but enjoying lower monthly costs.
A mandatory reduction in premiums should be in place to those who are no longer using their car/s.
