Increase payment for the ”unskilled” that are saving lives and stop 3.1% rise!
To increase payment for those key workers keeping us alive! Stop rise of MPs wages to 3.1% as of the 1st April!
The 3.1 % rise comes after a 2.7 % boost in 2019, 1.8 % the previous year, 1.4 % in 2017, 1.3 % in 2016, and a big hike from £67,000 to £74,000 in July 2015.
The Government needs to show appreciation to those that are actually risking their lives to keep the country moving.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for setting MPs' pay. The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) is responsible for deciding on MPs' expenses and pay. IPSA is independent of both Parliament and Government.
You can find out more about IPSA here: www.theipsa.org.uk/about-us/
