Order an independent inquiry, to review the Governments response to Coronavirus.

Petition Details

Review the Governments actions prior to and during the national emergency, including the key period from China’s first case. Crucially the inquiry should test the Government’s readiness to tackle the emergency, including aspects of Emergency Planning and support for essential services like the NHS.

Additional Information

At closure of the emergency, review effectiveness of the Government’s response, identifying key points of success and/or failure. The inquiry should include: Emergency Planning; support for key services; NHS staffing levels; provision of PPE, Ventilators and key items of equipment; Lockdown measures; Communication Strategy inc. the timing and accuracy of advice to all vulnerable groups; Covid-19 testing including WHO advice; the use of volunteers; ‘Following the Science’; impact on death rates.
