Award a bonus to all directly employed NHS nurses and customer facing staff.
Pay an immediate bonus to the group mentioned. They have already faced death. They are also willing to face death every day, so that others can live. It is the ultimate sacrifice, similar to the troops that went into battle in the first world war. A grateful nation rewards those saving the nation
It is apparent that these health care professionals in the NHS are vital to the continuation of society as we know it. A token from a grateful nation would improve morale in a way that few other things can do at this time.
Removing just a single strand of money worries could make a difference to the lowest paid NHS staff.
